The smallest and most affordable of all their fleet of latter day cars, the Ford KA has remained a familiar sight on the UK’s roads since it was first launched in 1996, going on to clock up twelve whole years in production during its debut incarnation.

And whilst admittedly, it is the smallest and less powerful of the vehicles we offer to book for driving experiences here at TrackDays (a 1.3 litre Endura-E engine accelerates it from 0 - 60 mph in 14.11 seconds), that’s not to say it’s not a car built for fun. In fact, when it comes to rally driving, it’s quite the opposite.

At Silverstone Rally School, it’s available to book for the range of Junior Rally Day packages that are hosted here. So if you’ve got a young petrolhead aged between 11 - 17 who’s got a taste for this fast growing genre of motorsport, then they can take to the wheel for a Full Day, Half Day or even a Solo Rally experience.

And under the guidance of an expert instructor, they’ll learn all the basic stunts and techniques for rally driving and slowly grow in confidence, as well as the bonus of a high speed passenger ride from their instructor to see what it can really do under experienced hands, making it a perfect gift idea for their birthday, celebrating the end of exams or any special occasion.

Goodwood near Chichester, Brands Hatch in Kent, London Rally School, Carver Barracks north of Debden, and North Weald Airfield in Epping Forest are just a few of the fourteen amazing locations in the South East.

Abingdon Airfield in Oxfordshire, Castle Combe in Wiltshire, and Thruxton Motorsports Centre in Hampshire are among the six great tracks in the South West.

The difficult Three Sisters racing circuit in Wigan, Croft International Motor Racing Circuit in North Yorkshire, and Kirkbride Airfield in the Lake District are just a few of the beautiful locations in the North of England.

We represent fifteen circuits in the Midlands, including some well-known names like Donington Park west of Derby, Silverstone, the home of Formula One, and Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.

The Anglesey racing track in Wales, with its breath-taking shoreline as a background, or the Llandow circuit, just half an hour from Cardiff, are well worth a visit.

Ingliston Racing Circuit, just 25 minutes from Edinburgh, or Knockhill Racing Circuit, Scotland's national racing centre, approximately 6 miles north of Dunfermline, are two of the four sites amid Scotland's stunning landscape.

Booking a Driving Experience

Purchasing a track day is simple for a variety of reasons. Gift certificates are available for all of our supercar experiences. If you're purchasing a present for someone else's birthday, Christmas, or Father's Day, they'll be able to choose a date that works for them. Not only that, but if you've given someone a multi-car driving experience, they'll be able to select which vehicles they want to drive.

Alternatively, you may choose your adventure and book it on a certain day. TrackDays gift certificates are good for ten months by default, but you may choose to extend this to fourteen months when buying. Terms apply.

It’s low running costs and affordable price range means that the KA was one of Ford’s most popular and best selling models over the twelve years it was in production for its first generation. In 2006 alone for example, they shifted over 17,000 units in the United Kingdom.

The Ford KA’s association with rally driving started in 1998, when the Ford KA Rally Championship was created. It remains one of the most popular rally driving championships for young drivers in the UK and Ireland, with Luke Pinder roaring to victory at the 2007 BRC Silverstone Tyre 1400 Championship in a Chris Birkbeck model of the KA.

All experiences are subject to availability. The most recent information on dates when an event may be available can be checked by looking at the calendars on the website, or when you have activated and logged in with your voucher. Please note not all spaces are shown online so if you cannot see spaces for your event please call or email for dates. We will do our best to secure your preferred choice of event, venue and date, but to avoid disappointment book as early as possible, especially for peak times such as weekends and the summer months which book up very quickly. Do not purchase an experience for yourself or as a gift that has a choice of venues if you or the person it is for are only able to travel to one of the choices. Once you are booked, you are bound by the terms and conditions of the event host of which a copy can be made available upon request. In most circumstances, a cancellation cannot be made once a date has been booked.

When booking by phone or online you should not make arrangements in connection with an Event until you have received your final booking confirmation stating your date and time (this does not include the automatic purchase email you receive that confirms what you have just ordered). Your final confirmation will usually arrive within 48 hours of making the purchase. For voucher redemption see 'voucher conditions' below. Where specific elements of an Event such as vehicles or equipment are not available due to mechanical breakdown, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions on the day. If this is not possible we reserve the right to cancel the experience at short notice.

Voucher holders must make a prior booking and receive confirmation in order that an open voucher can be redeemed. We recommend that when you have chosen your experience you redeem your voucher at least 21 days in advance of taking your selected experience. We do not guarantee availability on all events, even if the date is showing, so if a chosen event is full or you cannot find a suitable date during the validity period of your voucher then the credit can be used towards an alternative event. Do not arrive at a venue expecting to be able to use your voucher without making a prior booking and receiving a booking confirmation. Trackdays.co.uk will not be held liable for any costs incurred in such circumstances.

Unless stated otherwise, vouchers are valid for one person only. Where necessary a top-up payment can be made to increase the value of a voucher to book a higher priced event. Note that during the out of season months the price of experience may change. If the price of the event is lower than the value of the voucher the remaining credit will be held for use until the vouchers expiry date. We recommend booking as early as possible as you must have undertaken your experience before the expiry date printed on the front of your Voucher. All vouchers will be valid for use up to the expiry date displayed, but after this date, vouchers will automatically expire and cannot be reinstated under any circumstances. Trackdays.co.uk staff are not responsible for reminding or informing customers when a voucher is due to expire. A voucher holder may book a date which is outside of the expiration date displayed on the voucher but must extend the expiry of their voucher for an administration fee. This must be processed before the original expiry date. Voucher credit cannot be used for extension fees or to pay for booking protection.
