Ford’s range of medium range trucks - the F650 - have been consistently in production over numerous different variants since 1948, making them an undisputed leader where American trucks are concerned. This particular version comes from the F650’s current generation - its 8th in all - which has been produced since 2016.
It is the first of its kind to be powered on a fully automatic, 6-speed 6R140 transmission, with no manual transmission available, making this the most forward thinking F650 yet. The engine that it’s kitted out on is a heavy duty 6.7 litre Power Stroke V8 diesel engine, which offers out 320 bhp.
And whilst its equally heavy duty weight of 4717.36kg means that it’s hardly a speed demon - taking 17.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 - 60 mph, with top speeds of 96 mph - it’s still a supersized truck from the supersized States that, when you take to the wheel of it, you feel you should be driving down a dusty highway with Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ playing on the radio, it’s that good.
TrackDays works with a large number of the World's most recognised racing circuits - and with fifty to choose from you are guaranteed to find one easily accessible.
In the South East you will find fourteen amazing venues like Goodwood in Chichester; Brands Hatch in Kent; London Rally School; Carver Barracks north of Debden; or North Weald Airfield in Epping Forest.
The South West has six incredible tracks including Abingdon Airfield in Oxfordshire; Castle Combe in Wiltshire; and Thruxton Motorsports Centre in Hampshire.
There are eight stunning venues in the North of England - like the challenging Three Sisters race track in Wigan; Croft International Motor Racing Circuit in North Yorkshire; or Kirkbride Airfield in the Lake District.
Unsurprisingly we represent fifteen circuits in the Midlands - some places that need no introduction like Donington Park outside of Derby; Silverstone home of Formula 1; or Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
Experience the Anglesey racing circuit in Wales with the breath-taking coast as it's backdrop; or the Llandow circuit only half an hour from Cardiff.
There are four venues in the remarkable countryside of Scotland - Ingliston Racing Circuit is only 25 minutes from Edinburgh; or Knockhill Racing Circuit which is Scotland's national motorsport centre and only 6 miles north of Dunfermline.
Booking a Ford Driving Experience
Buying a supercar or track day experience is easy, and that’s for a number of reasons. Gift vouchers can be purchased for all of the supercar experiences we offer. So if you’re buying a gift for someone else, for their birthday, Christmas or Father’s Day, they’re given the flexibility to choose a date that suits them. Not only that but if you’ve gifted a multi car driving experience to someone, the lucky recipient will be able to choose which cars they’d like to drive.
Alternatively, you can pick your experience and book directly onto an available date. As standard, TrackDays gift vouchers are valid for a period of 10-months, but you have the option to extend that to 14-months when purchasing.
