Greetham Driving Centre

Formerly known as the RAF Cottesmore base, Greetham Driving Centre has now evolved into one of the most exciting new destinations for our more adventurous driving day packages in the East Midlands.

Based near Rutland, on the edge of the Leicestershire village of Greetham, the venue lies in close proximity to the A1 (M), meaning it's within easy reach of Peterborough, Stamford, Melton Mowbray and Grantham. Being a barracks site means visitor facilities are very basic here, so you are advised to come dressed and equipped appropriately for the day.

An expert driving instructor will offer you their guidance and encouragement to get the most out of each of your cars so you can really feel their power and performance.

But for those who prefer to go off grid, Greetham Driving Centre offers plenty of opportunities to do just that, with everything from 4x4 Off Road driving in a Land Rover Defender, tackling variable terrains that offer steep inclines and descents, deep water troughs and intensely wooded tracks, to the sheer power, energy and dirt afforded by booking one of our Rage Buggy packages!

For as little as £30, you can get a taste of driving sideways with the opportunity to try out Drifting in a rear wheel drive, drift spec Nissan 350Z, attempting stunts such as figure 8s, short circuits and donuts under the tutelage of a drifting instructor.

Fancy something more heavy duty? There's also our HGV Truck Driving experiences, giving you the opportunity to climb into the cab of a lorry or car transporter, as you get the chance to try slaloms or reversing over a 15 - 20 minute session.

And for those who had secret childhood ambitions to be Fireman Sam (didn't we all?), our Fire Engine Experience will let you live out that fantasy of being the hero next door, even if for a day!
