Tractor Driving Experiences
If you have ever wanted to drive a tractor, we offer fun Tractor Driving Experiences. Both adults and kids can get behind the wheel of these powerful machines. On real farms across the UK, you can have fun learning to drive. You can also experience what it’s like to be a farmer for a day.
Where you can Drive a Tractor?
If you live in the midlands or north of England we offer Tractor driving in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. For those in Scotland there are locations in Dumfries and Renfrewshire. The locations are on private farmland so there is no need for a driving licence. Just make sure you are prepared to get muddy, especially if there has been some recent wet weather!
What Tractors can i drive?
Although subject to change, here are the Tractors you can drive at each locations:
- Renfrewshire - A JCB 4220 Fastrac Tractor
- Nottinghamshire - Either a Deutz Fahr 5130G or Fendt 414 Tractor
- Leicestershire/Rutland - A Massey Ferguson Tractor
- Dumfries - Landini 115 Power Mondial Tractor

Depending on which location you choose you may have the chance to drive a variety of tractors, each designed for different tasks on the farm. From small models that are great for tight spaces to larger, stronger tractors for heavy work, there’s something for everyone.
Tractor Driving Tuition
During your experience, you will get help from skilled instructors. They will teach you how to operate a tractor.
You will learn about steering, gear shifting, and safety rules. You will also learn about different attachments like plows, seeders, and trailers. These tools are important for many farming tasks.
As you drive through the fields, you will enjoy the excitement of using these powerful machines. You will better understand the hard work of farming. You will also connect with nature and see how important agriculture is in our daily lives.
Driving a tractor on a real farm is an amazing adventure. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or have some experience. Everyone can enjoy it!
Just remember to wear sturdy boots and old clothes, as you will likely get a little dirty while having fun!
Who can drive a Tractor?
We have driving and tuition packages available from ages 13 years old and upwards. You must be agile enough to climb up and into the Tractor Cab as well as get back down. In Scotland, the weather is often damp and cold. You should dress warmly and wear good shoes for muddy conditions.
