While many cars are built for speed, the same can also be said about Bedford Autodrome. Safety is always paramount but the purpose-built facility has vast run-off spaces, enabling visitors to test their driving skills to the limit.
The site, a former World War II airfield, is near the village of Thurleigh and located between the M1 and A1, making it incredibly easy to get to. There is ample car parking on-site and a number of hospitality suites for visitors located around the circuit with toilets and on-site catering offering hot and cold food and refreshments.

A perennial favourite, and for very obvious reasons, is the super-fast and agile Ariel Atom. Capable of 0 - 60 mph in a mind-blowing 3.2 seconds, the Atom propels its occupants forward at such a lightning pace thanks to its 245 bhp engine coupled with race car engineering.
Not to be outdone is the incredible Renault Megane Sport 275 Trophy R. Here’s your chance to see if you can tame a former Nürburgring front-wheel-drive lap record holder in the heart of Bedfordshire!
Meanwhile, if the Lotus is your thing then you’ll be spoilt for choice with three models on offer. Take your pick from the Elise R, Exige S or 2-Eleven and enjoy lap after lap of fast-paced fun.
