Ingliston Driving Experiences

Ingliston Circuit is located on the outskirts of Edinburgh and is easily accessible via public transport. There is free on-site parking available. If you are using your Sat Nav, the address is Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston Road, Edinburgh EH28 8NB. The nearest train station is Edinburgh Gateway, with a taxi to the circuit from the station taking just under 10 minutes.

Disabled access is available on site on request. Spectators are welcome - there are viewing areas available on site. For those attending driving day events, you are generally advised to wear thin soled shoes and comfortable clothing. The team at the venue will try to provide shelter during inclement weather, but this cannot be guaranteed, so all visitors are advised to dress appropriately for the weather.

Also known as Edinburgh Circuit, given its close proximity to Scotland’s capital, Ingliston Race Circuit is steeped in automotive and motor racing heritage, and is one of the prime locations in this part of the UK to book and enjoy a range of driving experiences with TrackDays.

It was first opened in 1965, a time when motorsport became of even more prevalence in Britain. It subsequently saw many racing greats such as Sir Jackie Stewart and David Coulthard scoring up and down its circuit over the next 30 years.

Increased competition from nearby Knockhill Race Circuit saw its closure to motor racing events in 1995, but it has since gained a new lease of life as a venue for hosting driving experiences.

The 1.06 mile long circuit at Ingliston offers multiple opportunities for you to take to the wheel of some of the most desirable and exclusive marques of Supercars in the world - and all without the supercar price tag to boot.
