When it was first established in 1943 during World War II, Woodbridge Airfield - located close to the town of Woodbridge in Suffolk - was known as RAF Woodbridge. During the later stages of World War II and the Cold War, it served as a base for both the Royal Air Force and the US Air Force (USAF), ultimately terminating operations in 1993, 50 years after it first opened.
We at TrackDays are excited to announce the addition of Woodbridge Airfield to our list of Junior Driving Experiences in the East of England where young motorists can enjoy turbo-powered vehicles on a variety of amazing driving experience days.
To have a browse further afield and check what else is available, our Junior Events Calendar is the place to go to view all of our experiences as it is always updated with the most recent available dates that you can book directly onto. We are in constant communication with our providers at the venue and when new experiences become available, they will be added here.
Perhaps, though, you're looking for a unique gift idea to give to a special someone for Christmas, their birthday, or another occasion? With additional gift-wrapping options available at checkout - our open Track Days Gift Vouchers allow fantastic flexibility for the young driver to choose what they want to drive and when, using our handy online redemptions feature.
