Based on their long running and popular 911 Turbo model, Porsche first unveiled the 911 GT2 back in 1993, thus continuing the German automotive firm’s solid run of success in the world of high performance ‘Grand Tourer’ cars.
However, though it shares many stylistic characteristics with the Turbo, one crucial difference between the two is the GT2’s lightness; it operates on a rear-wheel drive system as opposed to all-wheel drive.
