The Porsche 911 Turbo was initially conceived in 1973, and debuted in 1975 under the name ‘930 Turbo’. It housed a 3.3 litre turbocharged engine, wider wheel arches to accommodate the new tyres and a rear spoiler known collectively as the “whale tail”. The 911 Turbo became a staple for Porsche throughout the years to its contemporary variation today.
