From Northumberland to Devon, our falconry experiences run up and down the country giving everyone the chance to see how magnificent these birds of prey really are up close and personal. Find out how falconry was used as a means of bringing 'food for the table' during Medieval Britain, with the Half Day Introduction to Falconry experience. After a brief introduction to the husbandry and welfare of birds and the equipment used in falconry, you'll have the opportunity to fly a bird 'to the fist' and experience the unforgettable feeling of having a bird of prey land on your arm.
