Encounter a breathtaking array of over 80 birds of prey representing more than 30 different species, hailing from various corners of the globe. From majestic owls and hawks to powerful eagles and vultures, Hagley is home to a diverse and awe-inspiring collection of these magnificent creatures.
Operated as an independent charity since 1983, our dedicated team of falconers and volunteers are deeply passionate about the welfare of these birds, delivering an unparalleled experience for our visitors.
Your unforgettable half-day adventure begins with an expert-guided tour, offering insights and information not available to the general public. Following this, you'll have the extraordinary opportunity to personally handle and fly at least seven different raptors, creating a truly unforgettable and exhilarating experience.
With small group sizes limited to six on weekdays and eight on weekends, you'll enjoy an intimate and personalized encounter with these remarkable birds. Non-participating spectators can also join in on the excitement by paying on the day to witness the action first-hand.

What's Included
- Handle and fly a number of different species of birds of prey and owls
- Welcome and briefing with with tea/coffee
- Guided tour of the centre with an introduction to the birds from an expert falconer
- Fly at least 7 birds in the arena from a selection of kestrels, owls, hawks and other birds of prey
- You will form part of a small group of up to 6 participants on a weekday and 8 participants on a weekend, plus any spectators
- This experience lasts approximately 2 ¾ hours
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome, subject to a cost of £15 per person
- Your spectator place entitles you to close up viewing to the handling and flying of the birds with plenty of great photo opportunities but does not include handling the birds yourself
