New research has revealed that petrolhead mad Brits would prefer to drift than experience the raw speed of a supercar.

The surprise finding is from TrackDays' most recent booking data, which has revealed that our bestselling Drifting experience is taking twice as many bookings as our bestselling Supercar experience, the Triple Premium Supercar Blast.

Indeed, the Learn to Drift Half Day Drifting Experience with 6 Passenger Laps has been by far our most popular driving experience with adults across April and May, accounting for around a quarter of all bookings in that time.

Dan Jones, operations manager at TrackDays.co.uk, says: "Our latest booking data shows there has been a big shift to drift."

"Supercars, while always a perennial favourite, are currently losing pace against our drifting experiences as Brits look to let off steam by burning rubber, attempting circular slides and perfecting doughnuts."

Indeed, the current popularity of drifting is supported by further data of ours, which reveals that, overall, drifting experiences have accounted for just over a third of all new bookings over the previous two months despite the vast array of other driving experiences we have available to book and enjoy.
