Have you had a track driving experience before and are looking to take your driving skills to the next level? On this racing driver training programme you'll be assigned your own qualified ARDS Instructor who will coach you in various race-prepared cars. They will help you push your existing boundaries to new levels and help you make the next step towards racing driver level. You will have the undivided 1:1 attention of your race instructor throughout your experience. There are currently four Racing Circuits you can take this experience at, and they include Llandow Circuit, Blyton Park, Three Sisters Circuit and Teesside Autodrome.

After your 2 sighting laps and 1:1 briefing, you will drive multiple vehicles:

  • Six laps in a track prepared Mini Cooper S
  • Six laps in a track prepared Mazda MX5
  • 10 laps in a race prepared Ginetta G40 GT5 race car

You will also experience two high-speed laps in the passenger seat of the Ginetta G40 GT5 race car with your ARDS qualified driving coach driving (and not holding back) in an impressive race car.

In the Mini Cooper S the guest will get a feel for a front wheel drive vehicle and the characteristics when close to the limit. Moving on to the Mazda MX5 which is a rear wheel drive, the differences will soon become apparent. Progressing on into the race prepared Ginetta G40 GT5 race car developing on the skills already learnt earlier in the day.

Finishing with the high-speed passenger ride will leave you buzzing and wanting more, so you do have the opportunity to upgrade the programme and drive a Mclaren 458 for 6 laps for an additional fee.

Expect to be onsite for around 2-3 hours. On circuit time in a vehicle will exceed 1 hour.

You can order this as a gift for someone in the form of a 10-month gift voucher. Alternatively you can book directly onto any available date.

Participants must have and produce on the day their full, manual driving licence. They will also need their confirmation email with the name matching that on their licence. Participants thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the venue and will not be eligible for a refund. Helmets are mandatory and will be provided but participants may bring their own.

Limited weekdays from March to November.

Participants can add on the option to drive the McLaren 458 for 6 laps for an additional £100.

Unless pre-paid, participants will be asked to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form before driving. The form may state that the participant will be liable to pay a fixed amount should they damage the vehicle whilst driving. The purchase of the waiver is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venue operators. The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator on the day and also on the booking confirmation. Please note, our customer service team will be unable to offer advice as to whether participants should or should not take out any additional cover for damage.

Severe weather may cause the event to be delayed or postponed.
