The Vantage V8 is Aston Martin’s most up to date sports car model. Launched in 2018, it succeeded the original Vantage model that had been in production for 12 years, so it had a lot to live up to. But if there’s one thing Aston Martin has always been good at it, it’s bettering what came before.
Design wise, it shares much in common with its supercar counterpart, the Aston Martin DB11, including using the same 4.0 litre V8 engine from which this model partly takes its name, powering 503 bhp. This is paired with a rear-mounted 8-speed automatic gearbox, making it the only vehicle to have dual manual and automatic transmission.
Its 50/50 rear/front weight distribution ensures a perfectly balanced grip for the track, and when you see the speed stats, you understand what this beauty is capable of: 0 - 100mph in 7.7 seconds, and a superhot top speed of 195 mph.
