A mix of a respectful nod to its scintillating past, with a forward thinking vision for the future, the Aston Martin DBS is the second of their Grand Tourer supercars to use this name, following the run of coupe models produced from 1967 - 1972, and was built at their production line in Gaydon, Warwickshire between 2008 and 2012.
Succeeding the 2004 Vanquish S, the DBS is powered on a Graziano six-speed manual transaxle and an optional Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission. It houses a 5.9 litre V12 engine, pumping out 500 bhp.
And with a wheelbase of 107.9 inches, and rear wheel drive layout, it offers superb traction and handling of the road for those who drive it. It’s speed stats are just as awe inspiring - accelerating from 0 - 60 mph in a scorchingly fast 4.4 seconds, it’s capable of a top speed of 200 mph.
