Porsche Powers Ahead As Most Popular Supercar in 2024 - News

  • Porsche takes first and second place on the winners podium as the most popular supercars in 2024
  • The news is revealed by TrackDays.co.uk which looked at the favourite supercars chosen for its driving experiences this year
  • Homegrown talent from McLaren takes the final spot on the podium

The awesome Porsche GT3 RS is the UK's favourite supercar in 2024, with its stablemate Porsche 911 finishing in second place.

That's according to our year-end booking data here at Trackdays HQ, after we looked at the most popular cars chosen for our driving experiences this year, with the Porsche GT3 RS being a clear winner, taking one-in-four bookings from among a fleet of stunning supercars.

The German car manufacturer has a double cause for celebration, as its 911 model was second over the finishing line, securing almost one-in-five bookings from Brits keen to experience its breath-taking performance.

Homegrown talent in the shape of the McLaren 720s took the third place spot on the winners podium by claiming one-in-ten bookings over the last 12 months.

Dan Jones, operations manager at TrackDays.co.uk, says: "The Porsche GT3 RS easily takes the chequered flag as the most popular supercar in 2024."

"It takes a quarter of all bookings for individual supercar driving experiences, almost the same as the Ariel Atom, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 458 Italia and Audi R8 put together."

The two other supercars finishing in the top five are the Nissan GTR R-35 from the Japanese car maker, while the Lamborghini Aventador flies the flag for Italy.

Dan adds: "Supercar driving experiences provide life-long memories. It would appear that many would prefer to have fond recollections of the Porsche GT3 RS, and who can blame them?"

TrackDays.co.uk's top 10 most popular supercars in 2024* are:

  1. Porsche GT3 RS
