Mount Snowdon Bootcamp Climb for Trackdays Manager - News
Operations Manager for Trackdays heads off to climb Mount Snowdon ‘Bootcamp’ style.
Dan Jones, Operations Manager for Trackdays.co.uk is heading of to Gwynedd in Wales, home of Snowdonia National Park this weekend on a mission to complete a Mount Snowdonia Bootcamp climb. It means not only reaching the summit in one day, but also completing four bootcamp sessions on route, each at different altitude.
The fitness challenge has been set by local Essex Bootcamp Instructor Russell Byham, who operates his ‘Mi Bootcamp’ sessions in Chelmsford, not far from Trackdays HQ.
Speaking about the climb, Dan said ‘climbing Mount Snowdon is not considered one of the harder Mountains to climb in the World, but with the added strain of four bootcamp sessions its going to be tough on the body and the mind. Snowdonia National Park is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK and there are tons of activities people can get involved in from walking and climbing to mountain biking and even watersports. This climb will mainly be walking with some relatively easy climbing, but knowing Russ and some of the things he gets us doing at bootcamp I don’t expect the sessions we are doing to be anything less than gruelling!’
Through two of Trackdays.co.uk sister websites, dreamdays.co.uk and extremedays.com you can book Snowdonia Experience Gift Vouchers for Hotels and many of the activities.
