After a recent announcement giving the Los Milanos circuit the green light to open, Spain's southeastern region of Murcia looks likely to add another track day venue to its ranks. Alongside the already hugely popular Cartagena circuit.
The new circuit in Fuente Alamo is set to open its doors before the end of 2018, with a management contract now being signed. Moto Club Fuente Alamo will be tasked with running the track, which is replacing the old La Torrica circuit.
After numerous delays, the new Los Milanos circuit is set to generate hundreds of thousands of euros in revenue for the area and will host the annual Fuente Alamo Supercross event.
The 3,841-metre long track will likely attract a number of bike and car track day providers, with Cartagena proving to be a hit with UK track day goers who don't mind making the trip into Europe.
