Kids' Most Popular Dream Cars Revealed Ahead Of Easter Holidays - News

Lamborghini has been revealed as the supercar king among children who have taken to the tarmac to test their own driving skills.

That's according to our latest booking data here at TrackDays.co.uk, which reveals that Britain's kids are most likely to pick a Lamborghini Gallardo when given a choice of supercars to take round a race track, with three different variations of the Gallardo in the top 10.

The Gallardo, the first Lamborghini to come with a V10 engine as standard and capable of 192 mph, placed first in the shortlist, while the Gallardo LP560 and the Gallardo Spyder came in eighth and tenth place respectively.

Analysing more than 4,200 of our driving experience bookings for 10 - 16 year olds, TrackDays.co.uk, also discovered that Ferrari is still a firm favourite with young car fanatics, with the Ferrari 360 Modena and the California coming in second and third.

Dan Jones, Operations Manager at TrackDays.co.uk, says: "It is great to see Italian supercar brands Lamborghini and Ferrari are still up there as firm favourites with young car fans as they have been for generations."

"For years these two brands have been poster pin-ups for teenage petrol heads, defining what a supercar is. Lamborghini celebrated its 60th anniversary last year, and when you ask a child to draw a supercar, they normally try to draw something which resembles a Lambo, and as for Ferrari, if you ask a child what colour a Ferrari is, they will most likely say red."

"The Easter holiday is one of the most popular times of the year where we see a spike in the number of 10 - 16 year olds booking a supercar track day, with last year up by almost half we are anticipating something similar this year."
