We're delighted to announce on TrackDays today that, just in time for the summer holidays, we have added a selection of tickets for the Silverstone Interactive Museum to our range of driving days and experiences we have available for our customers to book.
This brand new visitor attraction, located at the home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, is a fully immersive and interactive experience, which celebrates the unique history of Silverstone; its past, present and future from 70 years of motor sporting action, all covered over 2 ½ hours and 60 different exhibits and attractions to explore.
Officially opened by none other than current reigning F1 champ Lewis Hamilton and Prince Harry 18 months ago as The Silverstone Experience, the exhibition has now been relaunched to the public with a new name and new look - you may have spotted the TV ads trailed for it during the coverage of the British Grand Prix on Channel 4 a couple of weeks ago.
There's something fun for everyone to enjoy here in this indoor exhibition. Some iconic cars that have scored up and down the famous straights and hairpins of the circuit over the last seven decades are on display here, including Nigel Mansell's Williams "Red Five", an E.R.A from the first ever British GP in 1926, and Barry Sheene's 1979 Suzuki motorbike.
But that's not all. There's also the Silverstone Legends display, which showcases the top 20 most famous figures from the world of motorsport that are associated with the iconic circuit. You can also learn about the science behind the championship winning cars in the dedicated Tech Lab, discover the story behind the famous corners on the Outdoor Walking Trail, and you can enjoy an incredible 360° cinema experience which has commentary from the late great Murray Walker.
We have three sets of tickets available to buy for the Museum; For One, For Two or for a Family of Four. And with prices from £20 - £64, it's a great value day out for all the family, open all year round (except for Christmas Day). So don't delay - head on over to our dedicated Silverstone Interactive Museum page now on TrackDays to book your place on what promises to be the must see exhibition of the year!
