• What Is A Drift Kartz Experience?

On first appearances, it may seem as if Drift Kartz are just like any other go-kart you've ridden in. But that's where you'd be wrong. Because our leading suppliers at the venue in Staffordshire - Seighford Driving Centre - where these experiences are hosted have custom built these karts.

And you'll soon see the reason why, because the track layout they have used is hard and smooth with multiple corners, so it's very different from a conventional karting track, as the object here is to slide across the track as you race around it.

• How Do Drift Kartz Work?

So to that end, the karts are all equipped with hydraulic handbrakes, and broad plastic wheels rather than conventional wheels with tyres on as you'd find on a normal go-kart, which makes drifting in and out of corners much easier.

The rest is down to you, as you focus on trying to beat your competitors by maintaining grip and holding your nerve, as you lock your wheels to go into a corner and then attempt to come out of them successfully!
