As the start of the new Formula 1 season is just around the corner, with the first race taking place in Bahrain on Sunday 5th March, it's normally time to take a look at the cars that the top drivers will be racing in during the season.
But what about when they're not on the track? What do these drivers choose to drive in their private lives? Grab your helmets and strap in, as TrackDays.co.uk peeks behind the garage doors at the cars the drivers from Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari use on the road, we're hoping not at 200 mph.
First up, we have Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez of Red Bull Racing, and these two drivers are not constrained by contracts to car manufacturers like the guys from Ferrari and Mercedes allowing them that bit of extra choice.
2022's champion, and favourite for the 2023 season, Verstappen owns an Aston Martin DB11. This luxury sports car boasts a V12 engine and can reach top speeds of up to 200mph. What we love the most about this beauty is the dark blue paintwork, contrasted with vibrant yellow brake callipers.
Perez, on the other hand, has picked a car closer to Red Bull's home in the shape of a Honda Civic Type R. With Honda being the official engine supplier for Red Bull, it is clear to see why Perez opted for this fun, compact car to be part of his personal collection.
It is worth mentioning the Team Principal's car, Christian Horner, as he has a vintage Aston Martin DB5 which is perfect for taking on the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, near his home in Oxfordshire.
Next, there is the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Following Hamilton's poor season last time out, with the eight-time world champion failing to register a single win for the first time since 2007, many are tipping him to make more of a challenge this year to halt Red Bull's emerging dominance.
However, Russell's first season was met with genuine excitement, and we're sure a new power struggle may emerge at Mercedes this year.
Back to what's in their private lives, Hamilton owns a stunning Mercedes GLE-Class, providing him with that luxury that is reserved for those who've earned it. He recently sold a custom built Pagani Zonda for £8.5 million.
Meanwhile, Russell sits behind the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe, a car known for its powerful V8 engine and sleek design. Perfect for a young gun looking to make his mark on the motoring world!
Over at the Prancing Horse's garage, the drivers are officially on brand and both sport custom-designed motors from Ferrari's collection.
Carlos Sainz Jr drives a Ferrari 812 Competzione. Featuring a powerful V12 engine, this bespoke car was designed through Ferrari's 'Tailor Made' programme and it is simply beautiful to look at. With only 999 of these cars being built by Ferrari, Sainz felt he needed to make his car even more unique and had 'smooth operator' printed on the rear of his car.
Finally, Charles Leclerc's garage is full of supercars so we wanted to focus on his Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. Leclerc has a unique red and white stripe down the centre of the car which is a nod to his hometown, Monte Carlo in Monaco.
We are sure you will agree with us when we say that we don't think these drivers have held back on any of their choices when it comes to their personal cars. And who blames them. They're living in the fast lane and deserve to have personal cars that match that same racing spirit!
