• Cadwell Park takes the crown as motorcyclists' favourite UK racetrack
• Accounting for around a quarter of all biker track day bookings in the last 12 months, it was followed closely by Snetterton and Donington Park
• Cost of living crisis has seen the number of bikers spending money on their hobby down by a third

Cadwell Park has claimed the crown as the nation's favourite racetrack among motorcyclists, accounting for nearly a quarter of all track days booked by bikers in the last 12 months.

That's according to our newly-released data here on TrackDays, where we have analysed over 1600 bookings with a number of leading motorbike track day suppliers in the country over the last 12 months.

Snetterton and Donington Park took second and third place, accounting for 17% and 14% of all motorbike track days booked respectively, while the home of British motorsport, Silverstone, along with Lydden Hill and Croft came in last representing just 2% of all track days booked by bikers in the same period.

Moreover, the analysis of the 1600+ bookings also reveals that British bikers are feeling the pinch of the increased cost of living, with the number of bikers spending money on their hobby down by a third.

Analysing the bookings, Dan Jones, operations manager of a leading motorbike experience provider, TrackDays.co.uk, said: "Cadwell Park is always a favourite among the biking community, and is on the top of the list for the second year running."

"It is unsurprising to see that in the last 12 months the rising costs of food, mortgages, rent, insurance and so on has impacted the number of bikers spending money on the hobby they love, but we have noticed an uplift in the number of bikers looking for racetrack experiences they can do as a couple as well as off-road bike experiences on the rise as bikers look for more cost effective ways to enjoy their hobby."
