Blacksmith Experience Day:
A great experience for novices to try your hand art, one of the oldest trades
Spend the day at the anvil working with hot steel, sparks and fire
Learn the basics and produce a range of items such as hooks, keyrings, letter openers and fire pokers
Bring a sketch along if you have a specific item you'd like to make
Take home your hand-forged items
Minimum age 16
Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
A good, general level of fitness is required
You will form part of a small group of 6 people for this experience (8 for axe making)

Courses start at 09:00 finishing around 17:30/18:00
