Book a full day at a professional forge to make a hand forged axe with this Axe Making Course in Carmarthenshire. After being welcomed with an introduction to the forge you will be shown all the tools and materials you need for the workshop and be provided with safety equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, apron etc). In the process of making your axe there will be 3 parts, the first being forging out the axe, the second is heat treating the axe and the third is shaping and halfting. Your instructors will guide you in each step so you can make a perfect axe. After your day in the forge you can take your new handmade axe home with you!
