60 minute experience
This is a 60 minute Segway experience, including training.
All customers to arrive 30 minutes prior to their experience start time for registration.
You should allow a maximum of 2 hours to complete your experience.
Weather: Extreme weather conditions such as flooding and extremely high winds are the main concern. Although events can be cancelled during the event day itself, please go to www.segwayevents.co.uk or call the office before you travel for up to date information.
Clothing: Please dress according to the weather. Dress in comfortable, casual clothes. Skirts are not recommended! Waterproofs are recommended in rainy conditions, it is also highly likely your clothes will get dirty during the experience so please take this into consideration when choosing your attire.
Footwear: Please wear sensible footwear, please refrain from wearing loose or un-protective footwear such as flip flops or heels. Trainers, boots, and securely fastened shoes are fine.
If your Segway breaks down: Depending on the fault, we will either; fix the Segway, offer you the instructors Segway as a replacement, or rebook you and your group on to the next available date.
Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions, however all participants must be fit and healthy. If a participant has any concerns about their health they must contact their GP before booking.
Height restrictions: Riders will not be able to take part if they are under 134cm.
To maintain the highest safety standards, Segway Experience adhere to weight limits set by the manufacturer, Segway, as well as requirements from their insurance provider. It's important for all participants to be aware of and comply with the following restrictions:
Their weight exceeds 117kg (18.4 stone), Their weight is under 45kg (7.08 stones)
Please be aware that we utilise weighing scales during our events to ensure compliance with these weight limits. These restrictions are enforced in strict accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and are essential to meet the requirements of our insurance policy.
Group size/ Spectators: You are welcome to bring as many spectators as you would like to Segway events. All events are free of charge to spectators. On the rare occasion that there is a charge, this will be mentioned in the event information.
Health restrictions: All pre-existing medical conditions must be declared before riding a Segway. Falls from a Segway are possible and if you have anything in your medical history that might be affected by a fall we recommend you do not take part. If you are not in good health, you should NOT take part.
Participants definitely should not ride if they are: Pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, suffering from conditions such as (but not limited to) heart disease or epilepsy.
