From the moment you step through the gates, you’ll be able to take it all in; the well groomed and looked after Windsor Grey and Cleveland Bay mounts that pull the Royal Carriages, the State Carriages from the Royal Collection themselves, the uniforms worn by the footmen and drivers, all displayed in carefully curated exhibits that offer so much detail and insight that’s truly fascinating. All this, plus the truly magnificent Gold State Coach, a gleaming and familiar insight to those with a keen interest in the Royal Family, through its centuries of use in Coronations, Jubilees and other State occasions, most notably, of recent times, Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. And from there, you’ll make your way down the Mall to the Royal Horseguards Hotel, to enjoy a scrumptious Afternoon Tea for Two which includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco each to toast the day with!
