When you go on this one day design and make blacksmith course in Herefordshire, you'll discover that you can make just about anything at the forge! As part of a small group of four, two master qualified blacksmiths, Matt and Floyd, at the Fair Mile Forge near Leominster, will be helping you along the way, offering hands-on demonstrations where you can put your new found skills to use almost immediately, as you craft all sorts of objects, from fire pokers to trinkets and hanging basket brackets. You'll be working a solid fuel coke forge, so naturally, you'd be best advised to dress appropriately for the occasion in clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty. And indeed, nothing will beat the satisfaction you feel when you head for home with the item you've made as a fitting and lasting memento of your day!
