This new Fire Engine Driving Experience day is exclusively available at Prestwold and could be just the thing to realise that childhood dream!
On arrival at the venue, your day will begin with a welcome from an expert instructor, who will take you into the cab of the Dennis Fire Engine that you'll be driving, giving you a full safety briefing and running you through the dials and controls, where you sit and also get you accustomed to the size of the vehicle, which is approximately 10 metres in length.
You'll be offered expert tuition as you attempt to take on the custom-prepared auto course, navigating this stunning engine around slaloms and tight and technical sessions, as well as attempting reverse manoeuvres to perfect your parking.
You'll also be presented with and get to take home a Certificate of Completion of your driving day so you can look back and remember when you were 'The Hero Next Door' - if just for a short time!

Driving experiences are still carried out during rainy weather. All of our cars are road cars and are fitted with wet weather tyres. We advise you to wear waterproof clothing. In extreme weather conditions, events may be cancelled. In this eventuality, we or the events team directly will do our best to contact the participant to inform you and rearrange your experience.
