For those who've held tightly to childhood dreams of being a firefighter, this incredible and immersive experience, new to our Bovingdon Airfield venue in Hertfordshire, will let you fulfil those dreams! You'll be part of the fire attack team, kitted out in full firefighting gear - boots, helmet, gear, suit and gloves - as you get ready to respond to the 'emergency call' and race to the scene as the hero next door! You'll be guided by an expert instructor over the duration of your session, with full training on the various pieces of firefighting equipment, as you safely put out the flames on the simulated car fire. You'll have the opportunity to take on any number of roles depending on rotated availability on the day, from hose operator to search and rescue lead, and there's also a debriefing session at the end, that'll really give valuable insight into the crew's performance in high pressure situations. General
- Fire kit provided, including: uniform, boots, helmet and gloves
- Participants must be a minimum age of 11
- Participants under the age of 18 must obtain parental/guardian permission
- Due to the practical and physical nature of this experience, all participants must be able bodied and able to understand and follow verbal instructions.
- Please be aware that this experience involves artificial smoke effects, real flames, tripping hazards and other similar risks
- It is recommend to wear casual clothes and long socks to keep fire boots feeling snug
- You must be physically fit with no serious health conditions
- Glasses must be worn if necessary
- Flat soled shoes must be worn
- Helmets are supplied at the venue
- If you wish to book a weekend date you must pay a surcharge per driver

This experience is run on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Please note this experience has limited availability which is subject to rapid change.
Extras On The Day
Extra laps and passenger laps can be purchased on the day. Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage. There will also be an Optional Media Pack of videos and portrait imagery available to purchase on the day.
Weather Conditions
In the case of severe weather, your event may be delayed or postponed. In this instance, you will be offered alternative dates. No refund will be offered.
