Five Hour Session:

  • Forge more complicated pieces such as a door knocker, hanging basket brackets, boot jack, boot scraper, a steel rose or an item of your own design
  • You will form part of a small group of up to 4 participants

  • Minimum age 16
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • Suitable for beginners and those with some blacksmithing experience alike
  • A good, general level of fitness is required

  • Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
  • Dates are subject to availability
  • Sessions start at 10:00

Location:

  • Grassington, North Yorkshire
  • Fully equipped forge in the Yorkshire Dales

Minimum Age: 16 years

  • Sturdy footwear, such as safety boots, should be worn
  • Non-flammable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty is recommended
  • Not suitable for spectators
