Thruxton Circuit boasts some of the most awesome high-speed corners of any race circuit the UK, so if you feel the need for speed then make tracks to this legendary venue.
The iconic circuit also plays host to some highly prestigious motorsport events and TrackDays.co.uk is now able to let you drive your own car around the track, so you too can experience the sweeping corners just the same as professional racing drivers.
Thruxton itself is situated in Hampshire, close to Andover and just a short drive from the M3 motorway, making it an ideal venue for those in the South of England. There is camping onsite at certain events, for a set fee of £40 per pitch, with a maximum of six adults per pitch. Pitch numbers are limited, and are on a first come first serve basis.
Showers, toilets, fresh water supply, and waste facilities are all available on the campsite. There is the popular Jackaroo restaurant on site, located near the old air traffic control tower, open seven days a week from 9am - 5pm. Things to remember include abiding by the track regulations and for your car to be within the noise limit, but most important is to remember to have fun.
