Arriving a year after the R8 V10, the Audi R8 V10 Spyder had been long rumoured and much anticipated as early as 2006 when it finally went into production in 2010, following a showcase at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009.
The R8 V10 Spyder shares much in common with its coupe model, including the equipping of a 5.2 litre V10 engine, offering 517 bhp.
But one of the main differences between the R8 V10 and the R8 V10 Spyder is that the chassis has extra support weighting it even more to its rear wheel drive, offering fantastic handling and grip on the road of track.
When it comes to speed, it’s more than a match for its older brother, with a top speed of 194 mph, and the capability to blister from 0 - 60 mph in 4 seconds.
