The Autodromo Nazionale Monza or just Monza as it known is the host of the Italian F1 GP. Monza is situated just North of Milan. and was built in 1922 making it one of the oldest purpose-builts circuits behind Brooklands and Indianapolis. The 3.6mile GP circuit is just one of three formations that the circuit can change its layout too. Monza is widely known as one of the fastest racing circuits in the World. Modern F1 race cars can reach speeds in excess of 210mph thanks to its long straights making it the fastest circuit on the calendar. The GP circuit has 11 turns and the lap record around the GP circuit is held by F1 driver Rubens Barrichello in his Ferrari back in 2004. The record itself is 1 minute 21 seconds.
