The Monteblanco circuit was built in 2005 and is located in La Palma Southern Spain. It is close to major cities such as Seville (Spain) and Faro (Portugal). The circuit is used for a wide variety of motorsport events throughout the calendar year, these include F1 testing, driving courses, vehicle r&d and FIA Grade 2 racing. It is also used for non-racing events such as product presentation, filming, sales and networking and conferences.
The Monteblanco circuit is one of the longest circuits in Spain at a length of 4.432 meters and it home to one of the largest straights found on any circuit at a staggering 960 meters. There are a total of 18 turns an average width of 13 meters. The track is constantly being improved to comply with the latest FIA specifications. A key addition is an asphalt-gravel run-off area which increases a level of safety for both cars and bikes.
