Guadix Circuit Track Days Information

The Guadix circuit in Spain is one of the best circuits for one on one track training. The circuit was first opened in 2002 and the first event to run ther was the Andalucian Speed Championship which was held on the 3rd of June of the same year with ex British Superbike Champion Niall MacKenzie was a guest of honour at the event. Another key date was 2008 when the circuit was redesigned and resurfaced with a specially abrased tarmac. The current Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton had his first run out in a single seater Formula Renault race car as he made the progression up from karting. Other notable racing figures to have lapped the popular Guadix circuit include Michael Schumacher, Alain Prost and Leon Haslam, with the latter holding the current lap record.
