The UK is very lucky as it's home to some of the best race circuits in the world; just think of Silverstone and Brands Hatch for starters. However, if you fancy putting pedal to the metal in a luxury car a little further afield, then you'll also be spoilt for choice. Here's our top three overseas tracks, all worthy of a podium finish.
OK, it's an obvious choice but that doesn't make it any less deserving. Renowned as the toughest race track in the world, Nürburgring is located in the west of Germany.
The legendary Nordschleife circuit stretches 20.8 kilometres and is the longest permanent race track in the world.
But it's not just its length that makes it so appealing, it also has 73 corners and 300 metres difference in elevation – so it's basically a rollercoaster on asphalt!
And while providing a track experience unlike any other, the Nürburgring is also in the beautiful setting of the Eifel mountains, meaning it's a feast for the eyes while being the ultimate test for machines.
The track was nicknamed 'The Green Hell' by legendary F1 driver Jackie Stewart, while there's also the chance to drive the Grand Prix -Strecke with Trackdays, which has previously held F1 races.
Another amazing track that can lay claim to being the most beautiful in the world. Built in 1921, Spa is nestled in the heart of the stunning Ardennes region, with rolling hills and dense forests providing a unique dimension.
Its 7km length is packed with twists and turns, and long straights. It's also home, of course, to the legendary Eau Rouge, the most famous sequence of corners in the world.
Spa is a highlight of the F1 season being a hit with drivers and spectators alike, while also holding a full calendar of events.
With Trackdays, you too can drive one of the most challenging, but rewarding, tracks in the world, where the weather can also play its part, being dry and bright in parts but dull and damp elsewhere.
Granted, it's a long way to travel, but those who drive at Suzuka will marvel at a circuit which has earned a fearsome reputation since 1962.
It's also seen more than its fair share of drama, traditionally being one of the last F1 races of the year, and subsequently being a title decider on more than one occasion. The track is high-speed and measures just under 6km, while it is famous for its crossover, 'S' curves and figure of eight layout.
It also has a fantastic amusement park next door, meaning there's plenty of thrills away from the asphalt. While it has a shorter history than its two European counterparts, it more than merits a podium finish.
