The world famous Supercar manufacturer, Ferrari, is getting ready to build a new Formula One factory at its Maranello HQ in Italy. This brand new development will literally bring together its F1 program which is currently spread over three different buildings.
The new F1 Ferrari ‘factory’ will be dedicated to the F1 project and will have three stories to accommodate its 700 staff that work exclusively for the Formula One effort on design, assembly, chassis, engine, administration, fresh pasta and pizza. it should be up and running just in time for the 2015 season.
This significant improvement for the team follows recent investment in its wind tunnel and goes hand in hand with a sparkly new (red) F1 driver simulator and new 2014 hybrid engine that they are also looking to develop a Le Mans prototype around.
