UK motorists facing the daily slog of congestion, roadworks and road rage are heading to the hills in record numbers by going off-road.
Our stats show that 4x4 off-road experiences are one of the fastest-growing driving experience sectors, growing by 40 per cent this year alone.
Operations Manage Imran Malek said: "Beleaguered motorists face obstacles on an almost daily basis. Traffic jams and aggressive drivers are just for starters!
"It’s no surprise that more-and-more Brits are breaking free of conventional road driving with an off-road experience where they can unleash their motoring inhibitions."
While going off-road is one way to relieve motoring frustrations, the growth in 4x4 off-road experiences also mirrors the increasing popularity of SUVs with UK car buyers, which now represent approximately one-in-three cars on British roads.
Imran added: "Going on an off-road driving experience also provides the opportunity to learn a whole new set of driving skills and discover the true capabilities of a 4x4 vehicle. This extra confidence can be transferred to every day driving."
And it’s not just the adults who are getting down and dirty as children are also playing in the mud!
Imran concluded: "Children as young as 10 years old are now learning to drive off-road, and with no signs of a slowdown in SUV popularity, I would expect that demand for 4x4 experiences will only get stronger. In fact, we’ve added more to keep up with the pace."
