As Valentine Day approaches, we can reveal that Brits are in 'love' with tank driving experiences following a rapid increase in bookings over the last few months.
The latest data shows an explosion – more than 50 per cent increase – in bookings for tank related experiences in the second half of the year in 2018 compared to the first six months of last year.
With the most romantic day of the year just around the corner, were expecting another boom in interest as Brits look for an alternative gift to give to their partner.
Dan Jones, operations manager at www.trackdays.co.uk, said: "Our figures show that bookings for tank driving experiences are exploding as Brits can't wait to take control of some awesome military machines including the Russian Gvozdika and our very own formidable Chieftain Battle Tank.
"We anticipate that interest will increase even further in the run-up to Valentine's Day as people look for an unusual gift for their loved one, but one that they can also share."
And Brits are not shy at splashing the cash on their partners as romance takes centre stage, with some estimates suggesting that well over £600 million was spent in 2018 on Valentine's Day gifts.
Dan added: "From navigating terrains to crushing cars, even tank battles and night driving using the latest night-vision tech, there's sure to be a tank driving experience that would make the perfect Valentine's gift!"
Meanwhile, one of our fastest-growing tank experiences is its 'Tank Paintball Battle', which lets teams go against each other firing 40mm paint rounds. Aside from driving tanks other military experiences include conventional paintballing, survival courses and combat training.
