New research has revealed what car brand is likely to top the wish list for kids dreaming of a new car this Christmas.
The newly released data, which looked at our most popular cars selected on our bestselling Junior Triple Supercar Drive experience here at TrackDays (which is now available at a special offer price of £95 from now until 2nd January 2024), reveals that collectively, Ferraris are the high-performance car brand of choice in 2023 that British children would most want to drive if given the chance.
In total, Ferraris held 18% of our bookings on this experience, narrowly beating its Italian compatriot, Lamborghini (17%), to the top of the podium. Aston Martin proved to be the best of British brands, coming in third place (16%).
Dan Jones, operations manager at TrackDays.co.uk says: "There is something about a Ferrari that obviously resonates with children as much as adults."
"Ferraris regularly produce cars which adorn the walls of youngsters as they grow up, so when the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of its iconic red machines presents itself, it is hard to say no!"
In total, our booking figures were taken from 20 different high-performance cars, with the list including a Ferrari California, Lamborghini Gallardo and an Audi R8.
Jones adds, "I think a special mention must go to Audi's supercar, the R8 – especially as this is the last year it is being produced."
"With Audi only having one car on the list, the R8, it brought in a respectable 12% of the total bookings. It was only beaten by the other brands due to the fact they have multiple cars available for kids to pick from."
