Skydiving without the heights, planes and parachutes - experience iFLY indoor skydiving.

Let's face it, even some of the daredevil's among us draw the line at jumping out of a plane and free-falling from 13,000 feet to 5000ft at 115mph. Thankfully for me and them there is an alternative and it's absolutely epic!

Indoor skydiving has been around since someone turned a wind tunnel used for aerodynamic testing from the horizontal to vertical and jumped in, actually that probably didn't happen but you get the idea.

Recreational vertical wind tunnels such as iFLY and Sky Venture enable you to have the experience and sensation of falling through the sky without the heights, planes and parachutes. The air moves up through the tunnel at around 120mph, about the speed you would reach free-falling through the sky. The experience as you lean forward in the flight chamber makes you feel like a superhero, there is nothing quite like it.

Indoor skydiving is very similar to skydiving with the almost identical physics simulated as you literally float in mid air in the body flight position.

The iFLY experience is very well organised and suitable for children above the age of 4 and after a fun briefing where you learn the necessary technique to float you are issued and get kitted up in your flight suit, helmet, goggles and earplugs. The instructor will enter the wind tunnel to give additional support on the first of your two 'flights'.

The Skydiving experience is great value at just £49! Book your place now at iFLY.
