Formula Speed: Brits Continue To Enjoy Their High Speed Cars - News

• An increasing amount of Brits are taking to the track to get their high-speed thrills as one in five booking are premium racing experiences
• Booking data for Silverstone's Single Seater Racing Car Experience now accounts for nearly a quarter of all racing experience bookings
• TrackDays.co.uk's Triple Platinum Supercar Thrill also sees a 49% increase in booking numbers as premium packages become increasingly popular

With the end of the racing season upon us, here at TrackDays, we can reveal that Britain's love for speed shows no signs of slowing down, with two of our premium speed packages seeing increasing booking figures over the past six months.

Indeed, our newly released booking data by shows that one experience, the Silverstone Single Seater Experience, currently accounts for 24% of all driving experiences booked on our website.

The racing experience's rise, which gives race car enthusiasts an opportunity to drive around the famous Stowe track for 30 minutes in a race car modelled on a Formula 1 car, has been steadily increasing over the past six months. The new booking data also reveals that the experience now positions it in the top 10 best sellers, a spot it has never held until this year.

But Britain's love for the fast track does not end there, as we can also reveal that our Triple Platinum Supercar Thrill has also seen a 49% increase in bookings over the same six month period. The experience, which enables drivers to spend time putting three deluxe supercars through their paces, features the BMW i8, Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Huracan. It is available at 13 different locations across the UK.

Dan adds: "Both packages come at a premium price and shows that Brits will always find a way to get that thrill of driving fast around a circuit."
