Brand new research reveals that Brits want to live life to the max rather than holding back when government restrictions in response to coronavirus are lifted.
The data from TrackDays.co.uk shows that voucher sales, when recipients can choose the date of their experience currently up to 18 months in advance, are being dominated by its premium five-supercar blast rather than cheaper single or double supercar experiences.
In fact, the five-supercar blast, when post lockdown thrill seekers will once again be able to enjoy Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Aston Martins among other prestige marques, currently accounts for 1-in-6 voucher bookings.
That is more than twice that of the second most popular experience which is a double supercar package.
Dan Jones, operations manager at TrackDays.co.uk, commented: “After being in lockdown for several weeks, our research is hopefully an indication that many Brits are already looking to live life to the maximum post lockdown, perhaps appreciating what they once took for granted and may never take for granted again.
“Indeed, while we have plenty of single supercar thrills to choose from, it’s our premium packages that are proving to be the most popular voucher sales by far since lockdown was introduced.”
Apart from specific packages, cash vouchers, which give the freedom to buy any experience, have taken the most bookings.
