2026 is starting as we mean to go on. Because over at our Bovingdon Airfield venue in Hertfordshire, we're unveiling an awesome new selection of driving experiences that are only available to book at this venue.
We've got something for everyone to enjoy, and many of these can be booked for a weekend at no extra cost - how great is that? But don't just take our word for it - let's take a look at the new collection now…
First up is something quite unlike any other family driving day we've offered before. Because on this experience, hosted on weekends, there's a wide variety of different driving activities to choose from - 20 of them, in fact!
And if you're 5 or 85, there's bound to be an activity you'll get the most enjoyment out of. Whether it's as a passenger on the Monster Truck Ram, hot laps in the BMW i3 EV or Tesla 'Ludicrous' EV, McLaren Drifting Karts or Racing Simulators, the possibilities are endless.
But don't worry if the choices seem impossible to take your pick of one from, because you can also purchase extra tickets on the day to do more than one activity of your choice - so everyone leaves satisfied!
What's the first thing you think of when someone mentions Lamborghini? It's their insanely powered, 'Raging Bull' supercars, right? Well, as it turns out, there's more to the Italian marque than meets the eye.
Because long before the Gallardo or Aventador were scoring down the highways, they made their name building tractors and agricultural machines. Bovingdon happens to be close by to working farm land, which makes this all new tractor driving package a winner for any farm machine enthusiasts.
Not only will you get to uncover the power behind a genuine Lambo tractor, but you will also be learning how to drive it across a dedicated off-road course. Want to book more driving time? There's also a 60 Minute Lamborghini Tractor Experience which is available at £139.
For those who always harboured ambitions as a child - or perhaps still do - to drive the famous Dennis Fire Engines that are synonymous with the Fire and Rescue services in the UK, this unique driving package will tick off that bucket list item.
Following a 30 minute classroom briefing with your instructor after arrival and sign on, you'll head out to the track where you'll do four sighting laps in the track taxi to get you accustomed (including a demonstration lap), followed by four driving laps in the Dennis Sabre, with the lights flashing and sirens wailing to add to the excitement!
And, as with the tractors, if you want more driving time, there's also our Dennis Fire Engine Driving Experience Thrill for £69, which has eight driving laps in this mighty red machine.
But what could be better than driving a fire engine, you ask? Well, what about driving a fire engine whilst being part of a firefighting team being called out to an emergency call? That's precisely what this immersive experience will be offering you.
As well as your safety briefing on this package, you'll also have a session with the instructor giving full training on how to handle firefighting equipment. Then from there, kitted out in the full firefighting gear - boots, helmet, gloves and suit - you'll accompany the fire attack team to help put out a simulated car fire.
And because you'll be part of a team, you'll have the chance to take on any number of roles, such as being the hose operator or the rescue lead. The day will end with a debriefing session focussing on key areas of development for team performance. For those with an eye on becoming a firefighter, this is a really insightful experience to try out.
Those who are fascinated by the world of rally driving, and in particular the World Rally Championships, will love the opportunity to drive the Subaru Impreza on a dedicated rally stage in this fast, furious and very muddy package.
Following arrival and sign on, and a 30 minute introductory briefing, under the tutelage and expertise of a qualified rally instructor, you'll first do four sighting laps in the Impreza 'Hawkeye' rally car on the dirt stage, which includes one high speed passenger lap.
Then, it's time to swap seats and show what you're capable of, with eight driving laps in a four-wheel drive Impreza, with a co-driver navigating your route and helping to build your confidence, as you learn how to attempt power slides from corners and achieve the famous 'Scandinavian flick'!
Last, but by no means least, is an experience that will let you see if you're capable of pulling off some death-defying stunts like those seen on the big screen. Bovingdon itself has a notable reputation for its use by the film and TV industry, and even trains up BSR stunt professionals.
So therefore, it makes total sense to take on this stunt driving package, under 1:1 tuition from an expert stunt instructor, pulling off a manoeuvre of balancing the stunt car on two wheels, similar to that seen in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever.
The car itself is kitted out with a multipoint roll cage, dolly wheel and 6 point harnesses that will keep you safe. Have you got the ability to hold your nerve and execute this feat?
