This is a truly unique opportunity for you both to climb the roof of London’s O2, taking in stunning views across the Capital. The O2’s original architects have created and designed this one of a kind climbing challenge, as you scale over 380 metres of fabric walkway across the O2, suspended some 52m above the ground, with 30° angles of ascent. Rest assured, all safety measures are fully accounted for, so you’ll receive a briefing in your group upon arrival, and safety harness to attach you to the strong metal guide ropes for the duration of the climb. And it’s quite the reward when you reach the viewing platform at the summit, with a spectacular 360° panoramic view out across the River Thames, the Observatory and Greenwich Park, The Tower of London and The Shard - all before you begin your gentle descent back down to North Camp. All in all, this 90 minute climb will let both of you take in and appreciate what London has to offer from a whole new perspective!

- A good, general level of fitness is required
- Not suitable during pregnancy
- Not suitable if you have had an epileptic seizure in the last 12 months

Anything Else
- Participants should arrive 15 minutes before their climb time
- Generally, each group will consist of up to 18 people with a guide
- If you are looking to 'Climb the O2' in the next few days, please advise our customer services team Monday-Friday during office hours. Voucher codes for online session bookings are not dispatched on weekends or bank holidays
- The wearing of face coverings within the Up at The O2 base camp and north camp is advisable
Climbers can now wear their own shoes if the tread is suitable, provided they have the following:
- Velcro or laced fastening
- Deep tread – walking shoes/boots are ideal
- The soles/tread must be clean and free of mud and obstructions so as to not damage the walkway
- Fashion trainers with shallow treads are not suitable
The final decision as to suitability will be made by the team on the day. Climb shoes will be provided by us if your shoes are not appropriate or if you prefer to wear ours. You must wear socks.
Additional Safety Measures
- Plastic screening installed at reception desks and a cash-free site
- Visitors are required to wear their own suitable clothing.
- Climb jackets and gilets are available on request if needed as an extra layer. Climb shoes are always available.
- You are able to take your mobile phone or compact camera up to the roof with you but it must be stored away in a button or zip pocket on your clothing
- Tickets must be pre-booked and availability is limited
