Your tutor for this workshop is DJ Jake, at his specialist studios located in Stechford, just outside of Birmingham. He's incredibly passionate about playing the best music around, and he's ready to help you get on the decks and show you how it's done. The DJ room your workshop takes place in is fully kitted out with a set of industry standard Pioneer CDJ 3000s, visual screens and a smoke machine – all like you'd find used in nightclubs and venues. You'll learn how to seamlessly mix tracks together, with a focus on grids, matching BPM and beats - and in no time at all, you'll feel as if you're dropping tunes to make the crowds at Pacha or Ministry of Sound go wild! Plus, your whole session will be recorded for you to watch back and listen again after your workshop is finished.
