Every summer, visitors to London have the unique opportunity to go inside one of the most instantly recognisable buildings in the world, and in the Capital itself; Buckingham Palace, and to tour its immaculately kept State Rooms that have welcomed Heads of State and hosted numerous official engagements for The Royal Family for centuries. As you might imagine, not only are these tickets much in demand, but security at the Palace is tight, so even though you’ll have advanced passes, be prepared for a wait to go through the various checks. From there, you’ll then enter the Palace to enjoy a tour through its 19 State Rooms, with audio guides available to highlight key features of each of these opulent looking rooms that have seen everything, from Barack Obama’s Presidential meeting with Queen Elizabeth II to Prince William and Princess Kate’s Royal Wedding. After your tour around the Palace, you’ll then head to the Royal Horseguards Hotel, to finish off your regal visit with a gorgeous sparkling afternoon tea, including a complimentary glass of Prosecco!
