The King’s Gallery is located in what was once the private chapel of Queen Victoria. Since being bombed during the Blitz in World War II, it has been rebuilt and was extended again for the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee in 2002, and showcases up to 450 different artworks and artefacts over a series of many different annual exhibitions. There’s so much history and intricately detailed art to explore from right across the Royal Collection. From the Gallery, it’s then a short stroll along the Mall towards Embankment, where you’ll find the Royal Horse guards Hotel, and settle into enjoy a freshly prepared two course lunch for two.
