Our small yet well-organised setup is equipped with a duty pilot, ground crew team, and tug team to ensure a smooth and memorable gliding experience for you. You will receive instruction in one of our modern two-seater trainer gliders, such as the Puchacz or Twin Astir models. Our Chief Flying Instructor, Ross Morriss, or one of his team members, will guide you through the craft as it is prepared for launch. Once secured in the glider, you will be pulled into the air by the tug aircraft.
As you follow the glider protocol, you'll find yourself soaring through the air with the pilot instructor, enjoying the peaceful sound of wind rushing without motorised noise and learning about the search for 'thermals' as the Peterborough landscape unfolds below.
